About Me

My name is Pamela Williams, but learners call me Ms. Pamela. I love learning new things. Since joining Outschool in 2019, I have taught over 850 learners from 25 different countries. I offer a range of classes for children of all ages, including personalized preschool, kindergarten, first-grade, and second-grade full-curriculum. I also work with gifted children and children with autism.

I have been teaching for 35 years, from birth to adulthood. I have experience with the Handwriting Without Tears curriculum and have incorporated its ideas into my own curriculum. I have held various teaching positions, including Montessori teacher, private elementary teacher, after-school teacher, center director, preschool owner, and tutor. I have a background in Early Childhood Education and American Sign Language. I homeschooled our daughter from preschool through eighth grade using a variety of eclectic methods and homeschooling cooperative classes.

My teaching style focuses on making learning fun and interactive. I believe in listening to students and encouraging their participation. For younger students, I lead the classes and take them on exciting adventures of discovery. Older students are encouraged to ask questions and contribute to discussions.

In addition to teaching, I am passionate about crafting. I enjoy quilting, sewing, crocheting, knitting, painting, and jewelry making. I offer some crafting classes on Outschool and can even create new classes upon request.

I strive to respond to emails within one day. My classes are scheduled from 8 am to 6 pm CST. I aim to be punctual and ready for each class. In the event of technical issues, I will reimburse or offer a transfer for one-time classes. I prefer teaching small groups or one-on-one as it allows for more in-depth discussions.

I am excited to meet your child and help them learn!
